The story is about four best friends who grew up on the streets and made a pact to help street kids and orphanages once they became successful. As adults, they worked as tour guides at Victoria Falls, but by night, they secretly became “shadow thieves,” stealing artifacts to sell. They used the money they earned to fund orphanages, send street kids to school, and help their community.

Inspector Elijah was assigned to investigate their case, unaware that Raven, one of the thieves, was the woman he had fallen in love with. Raven also developed feelings for Elijah, and as she struggled with her love for him and her life of crime, she decided to change and stop stealing.

Eventually, Raven’s friends were arrested and sentenced to two years in prison. When they were released, Raven had established a legitimate foundation for them, allowing them to help people in a proper, crime-free way.
